What process does Subraya use to manufacture cashew kernels?
A. Subraya uses steam roasting to puff up the raw cashew. This is then cut by hand operated tools. Its then dried in the oven and peeled by hands. Finaly its graded to size and colour and packed in vaccum pouches.
Q. Does Subraya use water in their processes?
A. No. Water is used in the form of steam initially on the raw cashew nuts before shelling. Afterwards water in any form in strictly not used to prevent infestation and mould growth.
Q.Does Subraya have metal detectors in their production floor?
A. Yes. We use metal detectors to confirm that no metal has contaminated the packed pouches.
